PROJECT OVERVIEW:

Sasha Bruce Youthwork was preparing to celebrate its momentous 50th-anniversary. Having undergone a comprehensive branding process, the organization sought to reinforce its identity and clarify its mission beyond the local community’s perception. Although well-known locally, there is a common misconception that Sasha Bruce Youthwork primarily supports women due to its name. In addition to the anniversary celebrations, Sasha Bruce Youthwork was embarking on a capital campaign to secure funds for a new building. Sasha Bruce Youthwork aimed to showcase a new logo during the 50th-anniversary festivities.

ECG worked with the Development team, Executive Director, Board of Directors, and youth advisors to reimagine the logo. The board and youth advisors wanted to keep the butterfly shape of the logo, while the Development team wanted to move to a color palette that was fresher and easier to use than the previous watercolor. Once the logo was updated to keep the overall butterfly image, but update the colors, ECG created a 50th anniversary logo for the upcoming events. Then, ECG used the logo to create an engaging brochure, flyer, PowerPoint template, palm card, postcard, and folder for youth outreach and donor development activities.

RESULTS:

With the redesigned logo, anniversary logo, and aligned post card, palm card, brochure, flyer, PowerPoint, and folder templates, Sasha Bruce Youthwork was able to launch their 50th anniversary festivities with a new look.
