In their work installing and maintaining safe and reliable indoor environmental systems within office and industrial buildings, government facilities, schools, and institutions, ensuring their customers’ satisfaction is their number one priority. Whether it’s heating or cooling, an emergency system failure, or scheduled preventative maintenance, ATCO’s experienced and service-oriented technicians are there when customers need them with the skills, expertise, and knowledge to keep their systems and operations running. In 2023, they were acquired by Exigent, who was looking to update the ATCO’s brand and cross-sell other Operating Companies’ services to ATCO’s clients. Visit ATCO’s website.

PROJECT OVERVIEW:
Initially, Exigent engaged Epstein Creative to set up ATCO’s LinkedIn and email campaign platform to launch email and social media marketing to existing clients. Their existing materials were limited to their website and factsheets, which did not reflect their current positioning or the additional services they now offer, thanks to joining Exigent’s platform. Using Exigent’s brand positioning and customer personas, we completed a communications analysis and designed graphics, messaging, and templates for their social media and email marketing accounts. Next, we used a website we previously designed website for another operating company, JPG Services, to create a modular website template, which we used as a base to rewrite and build the ATCO website. This ensured that the operating companies aligned under the Exigent umbrella.
To further support their growing services, we designed a factsheet to showcase their new energy and sustainability services. Over the course of the project, we continue to develop other branded collateral to ensure ATCO consistently has branded interactions with customers at every touchpoint, including their e-signatures, the posters in their office, and other marketing collateral.
RESULTS:
Our team showed results across email marketing and social media marketing:
- The email campaigns consistently saw open rates above 30%, higher than the industry average of 28.95% over a 3-month period.
- The LinkedIn follower count jumped 320% in 3 months. LinkedIn page views were up 203% in 2 months.
- Within three months after the initial measurement period, the website’s new user acquisition rose by approximately 25% compared to the previous figures.
